The successful candidate will be responsible for providing preventative planned maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks in an efficient and timely manner to ensure minimum disruption to building and to ensure all site H&S rules and regulations are adhered to at all times at our clients Site
Key Tasks
Manage the Capex extra works projects process, typically relocations or various client equipment handling, as requested.
Maintain the Capex extra works tracker and report weekly on progress.
Obtain ongoing Maintenance costs for new assets in preparation of CCR submission.
Maintain and update Health & Safety Records including Logbooks (E-Log Books)
Carry out AP duties and issue of work permits and isolation certificates
Work Closely with the FMP Planner to ensure Asset data base is current and updated regularly
Ensure all New assets are identified by the QR code
Deliver quality services in a cost and operationally effective manner
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
Assist and enhance service delivery through best practice and the effective use of site systems and equipment
In addition to the above-mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined
Skills/Knowledge/Experience
IT skills including MS Office, data bases
Good level of written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritise workload to effectively meet deadlines
Full clean driving license
Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of an integrated site team
Previous experience working in a similar building environment/business.
Demonstrates integrity - acts consistent with what he/she says and believes in line with ethical standards
Customer satisfaction is to be maintained at the highest level by providing a high quality and pro-active service.
Effective communication with the client, peers and management team. Monitor third party contracts, ensuring value for money and innovative service provided
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a related field.
Recognised Apprenticeship
Have a positive and proactive approach to working as part of a busy Facilities Management team
Experience working in a similar building environment/business.
Experience with Building Management Systems
Experience with electronic HVAC control systems
Customer service orientated attitude
Awareness of workplace Health and safety
